This is my process:
I. consultation.
Fill out my contact form. I will confirm availability and send you a link to a welcome guide that has all the info in it! If you'd like to reserve your date I can simply send you a booking link with a questionnaire to complete on your own and/or you can schedule a design consultation (virtual or in person - your preference) to go over session planning details - date/time, location, wardrobe, and go over all the beautiful prints and products I offer.
II. portrait session.
This is when we bring your vision to life! I will guide you with prompts and poses the entire time - no modeling experience needed!
Just relax and enjoy the experience!
III. Deliver memories.
This is everyone's next favorite part of the experience. You'll get to view your images for the very first time and decide on the art pieces for your home. I give a few options: in person or on zoom if you want to do it together, or I can email you a link to your watermarked proofing gallery if you'd prefer to review and order on your own. Every image you choose includes full artistry and comes with a matching social media sized digital file. Once I've finished the editing, I will deliver your online gallery for you to have and share while you wait for your wall art or albums to be created!
As soon as your order arrives, I will inspect it and arrange for pickup/delivery or ship your items to you if you were only here for vacation.

Extended families
For a family portrait session with more than one immediate family unit, add $25 per person for groups over 10 people to the session fee. With larger groups, comes more edits and the inevitable face swaps to create those perfect portraits of everyone eyes, open, looking at the camera and smiling (whenever possible, of course!) Gallery link delivery and optional viewing/ordering appointment will be scheduled with the one responsible for the booking, other family members are welcome to share the ordering appointment or schedule their own if they'd like assistance.
Maternity
Maternity and pregnancy announcements can include partner, spouse, family, other children, or just mama-to-be.
Offering professional prints, canvases, & albums
to help you get your treasured photographs off your hard drive and onto your walls and into your hands.

These are by far my most favorite family photos we've ever done! Krista’s relaxed style and upbeat demeanor helped us have fun and be completely at ease.
This is probably too much information but I have to also share that earlier in the day of our photo shoot, I hit rock bottom physically with my health issues. I thought we would have to cancel because my dizziness, fatigue, pounding headache, and nausea were at an all time high. For those 45 minutes of family photos, I was able to forget how sick I am and how fearful I am that after nearly 8 years, no doctor can figure out what's going on.
Every time I look at the photos, all I see is hope and love and a future full of health and happiness. Thank you, Krista, from the bottom of my heart for this amazing gift.

How do I book a session?

If you'd like to reserve your date, I can simply send you a booking link to complete on your own with a questionnaire and/or you can schedule a design consultation (virtual or in person - your preference) where we will go over your session goals and ideas, schedule our date/time, location, client guides, and sign the agreement and pay the session fee.
Planning my session...
I have client guides to help with locations, planning outfits, wall art in your home and if you've decided to schedule a design consultation, we will be able to create a more personalized experience unique to you and your goals! We will discuss locations, session date/time, props, etc... and we will go over all the print and product options.
Most outdoor sessions are scheduled during golden hour - at sunrise or an hour before sunset.
What is your turn around time?
I curate a collection of the best of the best, high quality images from our portrait session.
2-3 weeks for a full artistically enhanced online gallery ready for the included digital images to be downloaded immediately! Optional viewing/ordering appointment is available where I will help you order your included prints and offer any guidance for additional products or simply use the online store to do it on your own.
1-2 weeks for an online, watermarked proofing gallery, these images are lightly edited for you to choose your most favorite images, prints, and products from. Only buy what you LOVE, no minimum purchase amount required. This can be done with an optional viewing/ordering appointment or on your own - whichever you prefer. And then I will get busy creating your artwork! I will send you your purchased digital images in an online gallery for you to enjoy and share as soon as they're finished!
Prints and products can take about 4 - 6 weeks as some items are handcrafted.
Once everything is in, I will arrange pickup/delivery or ship your items to you if you were only here for vacation.
Photo Retouching
Each image is meticulously hand-edited and artistically enhanced consistent with my current style (timeless; bright, bold and true to life) and lightly retouched removing minor imperfections whenever possible. Generally if it is something that will be gone within a few weeks (a blemish or scratch for example) I will remove those automatically. The focus should remain on YOU so I edit out any distractions wherever possible.
I DO NOT give out unedited images as they are shot in RAW format and are not a finished product or an accurate representation of my work.
Prints or Digitals?
Online galleries are nice but... I think it's a disservice to you if I were to stop there. You're still able to get that online gallery to enjoy, share, and have for safe keeping but have you ever been overwhelmed or confused when it comes to printing your portraits? My services offer you the best of both worlds.
