Let's talk props!
Senior Sessions are great for graduation announcements and invitations, party decor, and artwork to display in your home. Props are fun and add some personality and variety to your gallery, they are a perfect way to express yourself! Choose a few that speak to you from this list of ideas!
- Cap and Gown
- College T - Shirt, Acceptance Poster, Pennant
- Class Ring
- Letterman Jacket
- Sports Uniform and/or Equipment
- Medals and Awards
- Musical Instrument
- A Bouquet of Flowers
- Books
- Your Pet
- Signs
- Sentimental items: A frame or a piece of jewelry of a loved one, etc...
- Your Car
- Smoke Bombs
- Hobbies (skateboard, crochet, painting, etc...)
Don't forget about location! The location(s) you choose can tell just as much of a story as any prop!
A quick note about confetti, Glitter, and balloons
Our environment is very important to me, and I always try to leave a location the same or better than when I found it. I LOVE all things shiny and sparkly so I'm not against them. I just want to make sure that they are used outdoors responsibly to keep our wildlife and surroundings safe and clean. Balloons stay tethered and I always prefer the use of a glitter/confetti overlay done in photoshop but if you really want the real stuff, please make sure the confetti is organic or biodegradable and we have a way to contain and clean up our mess!
