meet Mikenna.
Veterans Memorial High School Senior, Class of 2022. Varsity Cross Country, Swim, and Track as well as National Honor Society, Key Club, and Vision Club all four years. She's graduating with over a 4.0 GPA, is on the CCISD permanent honor roll, and will be attending Texas A&M University - Corpus Christi in the fall.

No one can prepare you for how quickly it goes. My life is entering a season of change and all that is left of the time passed are my memories, the photos that remind me of them, and the good times reliving them with others through the stories of everyone’s different perspectives.
This is my why… why I love photography, and why I want to share my love for it - with you in whatever season you currently find yourself in.
today is the day
The day I knew would come long before I was ever ready. I have so much to say, yet can't find the words. Our hearts are bursting with pride, joy, and a touch of sadness as we watch you, our first baby... take her first steps into adulthood.
You are everything a mom and dad could have ever asked for. You have accomplished so much throughout the years, have a heart of gold, and have grown into such a strong, beautiful, compassionate, amazing young woman.
Mikenna, YOU have been one of our life's greatest adventures and have taught us to love in a way we never knew existed. Dad and I can't wait to see where your next chapter takes you.
But for now... let's party!! You've EARNED it my little Summa Cum Laude!
