Meet Dalton.
Port Aransas High School Senior, Class of 2022. Dalton, like almost all my other senior guys was probably just doing this for his mom (am I right? ha!) Once mom let me know of the props they planned on bringing, I put a session plan together so we could maximize our time and get a lot of variety with 3 close-by locations. We battled the cold, wind, and gray dreary skies with the sun only making an appearance a few times but just look at how awesome his senior session turned out!
Port aransas skate park
One of his huge hobbies on the Island is taking off and heading to the skate park. There was so many great actions shots to choose from, so here's a few of my favorites. Impressive to say the least!

Charlie's Pasture
We walked down the path beside the skate park to a pond that I saw while location scouting and session planning that was perfect for a more country feel. Give him a cowboy hat, boots and a guitar and we've got a whole new look.

CAP & GOWN
I always encourage you to bring your graduation cap and gown to your senior session. What better way to document and celebrate this huge life milestone? Not to mention it looks great on graduation announcement cards and invitations. This is definitely one of my all-time favorites!

Port Aransas Beach
My camera was already full of awesome images and it might have been FREEZING but what is a senior session in Port A without a picture on the beach? Seriously, is that even a thing?! Well it almost was, because the cold and wind were brutal (I'm from Wyoming, where temps get below zero and stay that way for months on end, you'd think I could handle the 45* like a champ, but no. I guess I'm officially a Texan now, haha!)
We all suffered through it and I'm not mad about it because the few that we got... were amazing!

Congratulations, Dalton!
He was so much fun to photograph, he has so many passions and talents and I just know that he's going to go off into the world to do great things.
